Welcoming all new and returning students to the Fall dance season!
Welcoming all new and returning students to the Fall dance season!
At StudioOne, we want our students to get the most out of every class. Our goal is to provide a fun, educational and positive experience to our students.
The following policies and guidelines have been established so that we can dedicate time to best serve our families.
ATTENDANCE
Classes will begin and end at the scheduled time. Please make sure that your dancer is ready for class before the scheduled start.
It is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to accompany students to and from the studio. StudioOne does not assume the responsibility for students arriving early nor does it accept responsibility for students who leave the studio after instruction when no one is waiting for them. Please wait until class has begun and be available to meet your student when class ends. Students should remain in the building until a parent or guardian arrives.
Please notify the studio of any changes in transportation arrangements. If a student is going to be picked up by someone other than specified in the registration form, please notify a staff member.
StudioOne does not follow a specific school district when canceling classes due to severe weather. A cancellation will be posted on the StudioOne Facebook page, and an email will be sent to the family contact on record and it will be post on WTNH. There will be no refunds for cancellations due to weather. Tuition is based on a dance season fee and not dependent on the classes per month.
ATTIRE
A neat appearance and proper dress code will be enforced. No street shoes or clothes! Please have the appropriate shoes for the class you are attending.
Hair must be pulled securely off the neck and should not be falling into the eyes. Ponytails, braids, and ballet buns are all acceptable. Please consult your instructor if you have any questions.
REGISTRATION
Completing a registration form in person, paying a non-refundable registration fee and paying the first monthly installment will hold a place in your desired class(es).
Please call the studio office at 203-488-0550 if you are unsure of which class(es) to sign up for. Scheduled class times are subject to change based on student enrollment.
You will be notified if a class you have requested has been filled or canceled. There is a $15 non-refundable fee per student due at the time of registration. Registration fees and tuition will only be refunded if a class is canceled due to low enrollment and the student can’t be placed in a suitable replacement class.
TUITION RATE SCHEDULE
Tuition is calculated based on 9 monthly installments.
Tuition is an annual fee billed each month and is not dependent on the number of days in each month. Monthly tuition must be paid by cash, check, or credit/debit card payment or Venmo. Tuition is due 1st day of each month. A $10 late fee will be charged if payment is not made by the 10th of the month.
YEAR-END RECITAL AND COSTUME FEE
There will be an optional end of the year performance opportunity for all the students at StudioOne. This is an exciting and wonderful way for the dancers to display what they have learned through the year in front of an audience.
A $50 costume deposit (per costume) is due by November 1st. Costumes
There will be no refunds for costume deposits or payments. If we don't receive your costume deposit, we can't order your child's costume, which may result in the inability to perform in the show.
